Here are a list of some of my new goals in life

OK - this will make your day.

I may be the last person on the internet to find this, but it Hi-Larious. OFFICE SPACE WARS - Robin and Alex will especially appreciate this. You can guess what it is from the title. It's truly genius.

Ok - story of the day -

Accoring to the New Scientist, an asteroid passed quite close to the earth... back in March, and we are only learning about it now. And not even close, but "exceptionally close."

Hello people - (1) what kind of lame scientists hold this information from the public? According to the article, astronomers posted their findings on some random Harvard website so other people could "observe" gravity potentially pulling it into our atmosphere and destroying human existence. And (2) if some large hurtling rock really was coming our way, we'd never know it until it crashed, would we? I mean, its comforting in a way, but still - for all the technology and satellite imagery and whatever...why aren't we getting this info sooner?

Back in February 04, I remember this story on the BBC that we were "almost" put on an impact alert a month earlier. The 30m rock had a ONE IN FOUR CHANCE OF HITTING THE EARTH in 36 hours. Mind you , this was all happening at the same time Bush was going to announce his plan for space exploration. I mean, what will it take for this country to realize that the UNIVERSE doesn't want Bush in office?

Due to the news of this recent near-miss, I have decided to map out my goals in short periods of time instead of across a lifetime. Cause who knows when the rock will hit...

And because I am one of those people that needs a list of things before I can complete them, here it is - what I hope to do before Jan 1, 2005

1- Finish the short I'm working on - and produce it
2- Finish novel about Lisa's life and push the crap out of it
3- Watch less MTV
4- Beat "Kingdom Hearts"

I have confidence that I will complete them all (even the MTV part)
*%$*%$*%$*%$*%$*%$

One thing I did this morning was troll through some of the blogs that follow mine, in whatever order "Blogger" decided we should all be in. A whole lot of people are from Singapore, which I find really interesting. Another theme that permeated almost all the sites that weren't "I love David D forever" sites... was the "I'm out of my mind and i'm using this blog to document my insanity" theme. What is it that compels one to broadcast one's inner thoughts - as "crazy" or "mundane" they may be?

What i also liked was the fact that everyone has interesting pictures. But since i haven't figured that part out yet, you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Question of the day - If you could die and come back as any Hip Hop performer, who would it be and why?

Eminem - all that talent, all that street cred, and you get to keep all the societal perks associated with being a White Male.
